Jason Tyler

Jason qualified as both an architect and an architectural technician with over 15 years work experience working on a range of projects from large mixed use commercial developments to private one-off houses and residential renovations. These include both contemporary and traditional projects, along with a number of protected structure renovations. Jason has a huge interest in energy efficiency and recycling. TOA are currently involved in a number of recycling projects in Oman in the Middle East.

Peter Owens

Peter also qualified as both an architect and an architectural technician with over 15 years work experience. Peters ability to recognise the proportional relationship in traditional design has lead to numerous large one-off private house commissions over the last 7 years which clients have come to love and admire, and which continue to bring clients to Tyler Owens front door. This passion and enthusiasm carries through to our clients during the process of building their dream home.

Both Jason and Peters passion for architecture, and the importance of understanding our clients and being able to relate to our clients needs has been paramount in the development of Tyler Owens Architects. The natural symbiosis between both partners has allowed the practice to grow and develop its skills in both traditional and contemporary design. The importance of client communication, understanding and sharing of information in a format that our clients can relate to, and be involved in, is paramount to Tyler Owens Architects ethos. We treat each and every project as a partnership between us and the client from start to finish.

Meet the Team

Of course, none of this could be achieved without the support of our dedicated and passionate team back at our design studio, which is in a renovated protected structure formally the Dublin Whiskey Distillery overlooking the Tolka river in Fairview. Our ability to recognise the relationship between good design and construction detailing allows the practice to promote quality design through technical knowledge, expertise, and good old fashioned hard work.
